Statistical Database, Cancer

The information in the database is taken from the National Board of Health and Welfare's Cancer Register. The Cancer Statistics only include persons who were registered in Sweden at the time of the diagnosis. The statistics include malignant tumors. For some tumor types, precancerous stages and tumors with suspected malignancy, as well as certain benign tumor types, are also included (see bilaga 1 of the document Kodning i Cancerregistret for further details).
